Incubators
Incubators provide mentorship to our startups. They identify and nurture startups as well as administer the funding to the startups on behalf of the IDM Programme Office. Incubators will advise startups on the uniqueness of their ideas, aggregate startups with similar ideas, offer networks, and provide guidance on securing additional funding and general business advice.
For i.JAM Reload, the IDM Programme Office is looking at increasing sophistication of the Incubators and as such is looking for applicants who possess the following:
Funding : Ability and commitment to provide matching funds for Tier 2 (S$100,000)
Dedication : Full-time dedicated teams, committed mentors
Local Access : Local companies and investors
Talent : Incubators with ready access to talent & technology sources
Differentiated Approach : Experienced, well organised teams with established track record
To-Market Support : Incubators that can help our start-ups scale globally from Day 1
At this moment, the IDM Programme Office is accepting applicants for Incubators for the i.JAM Reload programme, and is in the midst of processing these applications. It is anticipated that results of new incubators will be out by Q1 2012.
