GAMBIT in the News: Carneyvale showtime featured in Game Career Guide and Mypaper

The GAMBIT mention comes in an article entitled “10 Student Games That Matter – Important games from students that went pro”. The author lists 10 student games from the last few years that have had an important impact on the game world, Carneyvale: Showtime being one of them.
The article includes a list the awards won by Carneyvale: Showtime, including the first prize at the 2008 Microsoft 2008 NXA Dearm-Build-Play challenge, a nomination for the 2009 IGF Seumas McNally Grand Prize, and being selected as one of the 2009 Penny Arcade’s PA X 10 showcase pieces. Featured in an article entitled “S’pore games make global splash”, GAMBIT’s CarneyVale: Showtime is one of the most successful games on the Xbox Live Indie Games portal, which currently offers over 1,000 games. Small and indie game developers from 16 countries can upload their games to this portal to acess millions of users in 10 countries such as the United States, Japan, and Germany.
