FutureGames
Introduction
The gaming industry has grown rapidly in recent years. The DFC Intelligence (2008) and the Deloitte Study (2008) have forecasted the gaming industry to be worth USD$44 billion globally and the Singapore games market growing at CAGR of 20% to the worth of S$287 million in 2015 respectively. Therefore, Games is one of the key opportunity areas that Singapore can tap onto in shaping the Future of Media.
The FutureGames aims to develop Singapore-based game ecosystem with end-to-end capability of producing original and successful game content and services. The IPs will be deployed globally through vast network of users and co-creators. It will also be supported by a healthy media financing sector looking actively at game products and services and a strong local game development talent pool.
