Sailaja Sruthi Yadlapati

Sailaja Sruthi Yadlapati, born on 15th June 1987 in a Telugu family in Hyderabad, India. She has done her schooling from NASR,Hyderabad and topped her school in the tenth grade. She was ranked 11th statewide in 12th grade and has achieved a rank within the top 3% of 150,000 people who took the engineering and medical entrance examination in her state.She has passed out her under-graduation from Osmania University,Hyderabad in Computer Science Engineering with a First Class Honours degree. She holds a masters degree from Nanyang Technological University in Digital Media Technology from the School of Computer Engineering.

As part of her Masters she has researched in Realistic Digital Night Time photography where in the goal is provide ordinary consumer cameras with the capability to capture realistic night-time images through algorithmic and post-processing means. The purpose of this project is to investigate algorithmic techniques to improve night-time photographs. Specifically, the combination of multiple short exposure frames, with motion compensation, and with fixed-pattern noise reduction and color correction.

She has experience in C,C++,Java,SQL,OpenGL,Macromedia Flash,UDK and is currently working with Prof. Mark Chavez in CaN project as a Technical Designer where she coordinates with School of Computer Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and helps in technical level designing based on Unreal Development Kit (UDK).

Her hobbies are painting, playing Veena ( a South Indian acoustic instrument), badminton, travelling and reading.She has a passion towards adventure sports, movies, social networking and loves animals.
