Founders of Gametize - Keith and Damon
Straits Times Digital Life (11th April 2012) prominently featured 3 IDM supported start-ups. These are: Gametise, BuUuk (both i.JAM recipients) and T.Ware, a spin off from KEIO-NUS CUTE Centre established and funded by MDA IDMPO.
The featured apps / services are:
- GameMaki app from Gametise, lets users create real-life challenges for others who can claim the quests and complete them for virtual points and real-life rewards.(Link)
- Mana Rapid Transit app from BuUuk which crowd source for information about situations in MRT stations to allow commuters to find out if a particular MRT train station is particularly crowded or if train services has been disrupted (Link)
- T.Ware’s inflatable jacket which can mimic deep pressure stimulation (ie. “hugs”) for the wearer! The product and corresponding app are being used by therapists to calm autistic children when they get overexcited. (Link)
