(A) Company Background / Introduction

ST Electronics (Training & Simulation Systems) Pte Ltd (STEE-T&S), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited, develops, manufactures and markets advanced computer graphics software and solutions for simulation, animation, games and edutainment applications. It is focusing on growing its market in the region and is keen on partnerships with 3D model stakeholders to create nation-wide resources for 3D models in Singapore.

(B) Call for Technology Collaboration

STEE-T&S has been actively involved in the Training and Simulation sector for the past three decades. In the last decade, it has expanded its offerings to four business segments of Simulation, Animation, Games & Edutainment (SAGE), including virtual worlds, to provide innovative training and learning solutions. Through the exploitation and convergence of SAGE technologies and capabilities, STEE-T&S is in a unique position to provide full-fidelity spectrum (realism) interactive Virtual Worlds, where users interact, communicate, play and learn.

We are keen to embark on potential partnership to develop technologies that compliment our SAGE solutions. These solutions encompass technologies mainly from the areas of Modelling & Simulation, Digital & Interactive Media and Virtual Worlds. Examples of these technologies are:

• Training Instrumentation

With in-depth knowhow and world class technologies, we aim to bring our unique brand of SAGE solutions to the Health and Learning markets.
