(A) Company Background/Introduction

Since its establishment in 1995, Crystal has been helping its clients to achieve their goals by applying 3D visualization technology with creative solutions and we have recently expanded into other sectors such as digital entertainment, culture and education. Crystal now employs over 3,200 young and creative employees and as many as 20,000 students graduate from Crystal’s Training Academies each year, representing a big source of talent for the Company’s expansion. Close cooperation with the Olympics over the past 8 years had also led to the Company’s rapid growth.

Crystal Graphics’ commitment to FutureWorlds lies primarily in its NCity platform, where some US$5m has been invested over the past 3 years. To date, Ncity has been utilized in major events like the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and will also be featured in the upcoming 2012 London Olympics and 2016 Rio De Janiero Olympics. Here in Singapore, Crystal has also secured several overseas real estate development and special economic zone contracts which involves utilizing Ncity technology, which includes the virtual world contract for the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympic Games which is to be held in Singapore next year – this is jointly being developed with ST Electronics.

To date, revenue attributed directly or indirectly to Ncity platform development and deployment has exceeded SGD10million this year.

(B) Call for Proposals

Crytal Graphic’s computer graphics experience, vast buildings database of the world’s cities world make NCity a proven and viable and proven platform for large-scale virtual and mirror worlds.

Application Development
World Expo 2010 Shanghai China will see some 192 countries and 50 international countries participating in a 5.28 square kilometres area at the core of the city. So far, 192 countries and 50 international organizations have confirmed participation in Expo 2010.

Crystal Graphics has been appointed as the official Multimedia Service Provider where part of Ncity’s technology including browser based real time 3D visualization and mobile applications will be deployed for the first time during the Shanghai World Expo.

Crystal Graphics is keen to support compelling applications on the Ncity Platform. Selected developers may obtain the SDKs for free, where compelling applications might be integrated into the Shanghai Expo Online platform.

Platform Deployment
Crystal Graphics is keen on commercial partnerships for joint deployment and co-development of technology solutions in the virtual worlds space.
